Three types of cabinet coolers are available.

Among the enormous selection of industrial compressed-air products available from the EXAIR LLC team are cabinet-cooler systems. This includes ATEX-certified cabinet coolers for explosive locations, Hazardous Location cabinet coolers for hazardous areas, and NEMA 12, 4, and 4X units. These products offer a rugged, industrial-duty solution for cooling and purging electronic cabinets.

EXAIR has an ongoing special promotion with its cabinet coolers: with each purchase, the user can get a free AC sensor.

Wear, corrosion, oxidation resistance

These are low-cost, CE-compliant cabinet coolers that users can install in mere minutes, and they are available in sizes of up to 5,600 Btu per hour. The ATEX models have been tested and approved by UL Solutions, and they comply with the strict ATEX requirements for explosive work environments in Zones 2 and 22. EXAIR provides ATEX cabinet coolers for use with purged and pressurized electrical control panels within ATEX-zoned areas.

The UL-classified hazardous-location cabinet coolers have been engineered for purged and pressurized systems for Class I Division 1, Groups A, B, C, and D, as well as Class II Division 1, Groups E, F, and G, plus Class III areas. Meanwhile, EXAIR offers each of its NEMA 12, 4, and 4X cabinet coolers with a thermostat control or as a continuous-operation system. These models are manufactured from stainless steel, which adds wear, corrosion, and oxidation resistance that results in long operational life and maintenance-free operation.

With EXAIR cabinet coolers, customers can prevent electronic-control downtime due to heat, dirt, or moisture. Other advantages: they stabilize enclosure temperature and humidity, stop nuisance tripping, eliminate fans and filters, eliminate circuit drift, and offer washdown protection. EXAIR recommends these solutions for programmable controllers, line-control and motor-control cabinets, relay panels, NC/CNC systems, modular control centres, CCTV cameras, computer cabinets, laser housing, electronic scales, and food-service equipment.

The perfect way to ensure power is going into a Gen4 single-point ionizer, EXAIR’s Model 7929 AC sensor can be used to test wall receptacles, switches, fuses, and junction boxes.

Founded in 1983, EXAIR LLC manufactures a broad variety of compressed-air equipment at its Cincinnati facility. Key examples include vacuum conveyors, static eliminators, air knives, and spray nozzles.
