Ideal for space, weight limitations

MINCO’s polyimide thermofoil heaters include thin, flexible heating devices that work for temperatures from -200 to 200 degrees Celsius. These flexible thermofoil heaters are ideal for applications involving space and weight limitations, or in which the heater is exposed to vacuum, oil, or chemicals. Their etched-foil heating technology provides fast, efficient thermal transfer. The manufacturer’s all-polyimide heaters are a high-performance alternative to the standard polyimide model, allowing higher temperatures and watt densities.

Mod-Tronic also carries these options:

• Mica heaters – with etched-foil elements sandwiched between mica layers. Installed by being clamped to heat sinks. Providing the ultimate temperature and wattage capability for fast warm-up.
• Stock silicone rubber heaters – with silicone rubber, a rugged, flexible elastomer material with excellent temperature properties, best suited to larger heaters and industrial applications. Not recommended for radiation, vacuum, or prolonged exposure to oil.
• Silicone rubber wire-wound heaters – rugged construction and high ductility, which allow repeated flexing for easier installation, with uniform heating up to 220 degrees Celsius. Can be mounted to curved or flat surfaces. Lower leakage current, due to reduced capacitive coupling.
• SmartHeat SLT heaters – the ideal solution for many demanding heating applications, offering a plug-and-play option that requires just one power source. Applies heating power and modulates it at infinite points across the full heating surface based on the heat load, allowing the unit to provide the necessary power up to the designed temperature.
• Thermal-Clear transparent heaters – with a micro-thin wire heating element laid in a pattern between optical-grade polyester sheets. These heaters provide reliable heat without blocking light. Rugged materials prevent costly damage during installation and handling.
