Various kinds of dust collectors are available.

For more than eight decades and counting, N.R. Murphy Limited has grown into a major manufacturer of industrial air-quality equipment throughout North America. Dust collectors are the top specialty of this corporation, which offers a wide product selection with something to satisfy any dust-collecting need a business may have. Among the numerous options available are Pulse Jet and shaker-style dust collectors, in addition to cyclones, portable units, and specialized machines.

For all scenarios, environments, budgets

The N.R. Murphy team supplies a range of dust collectors that is compatible with virtually all scenarios, work environments, and budgets, with unsurpassed levels of experience, knowledge, and skill. This includes a few types of accessories for specific needs. Pulse Jet dust collectors, for example, are most recommended for 24-7 manufacturing operations. These dust collectors use compressed air to blow filters clean on a set timer, to make sure the customer never loses even a minute of production.

Another variation available is the HE series, which offers a continuous-duty, automatic self-cleaning filtration system for customers with no production downtime to ensure high productivity. N.R. Murphy also makes the C series, which uses cartridge-style filters and is perfect for low-dust load applications such as smoke, fines, and fine dust particles.

Shaker-style collectors are recommended for intermittent run times. Each has an automatic motor and timer and shakes filters clean after the unit is shut down, making sure filters are maintained for years. This group comprises two series: the FB series, with a cylindrical design, tube-style filters, and mechanical shaker-style cleaning to integrate a cyclonic component for superior dust-particle separation; and the MK series, which offers a square/rectangular design that maximizes the airflow to filter-media ratio for efficient dust collection in a compact design for various sectors.

Cyclones can be used as standalone air-material separators or in conjunction with dust-collection systems. Customers can also use these models as primary separators to offer classification or sizing of material. Another dust-collector type, the MRX series, comprises compact, lightweight portable units that are easy to move between machines. The eight-foot height is ideal for manufacturing facilities that have low headroom.
